General Information:

●On Wednesday mornings, the Stanley campus opens at 8:15am.

●Please arrive to Stanley at least 5 minutes before the campus opens to grab your Campus Cruiser lanyard.  The lanyard will indicate where on campus you will cruise and other information about your duty.

●Prior to the 9:20am warning bell (school begins at 9:24am), students coming onto campus will be directed to go to the 8th grade park, the blacktop, the Gym, the 700/800 hallway, the library, the Outdoor Learning Quad (OLQ), and the 400 hallway.

●Please encourage students who are eating to separate and sort their trash when they are finished.  Each zone will have separate bins for trash, recycling, and compostables.  Please make sure that all waste is disposed of properly, and if trash is on the ground, please ask students in the area to pick it up.

●Please plan to work your Campus Cruiser shift on rainy days.  On those days, we would appreciate your help monitoring the flow of student traffic through hallways as they go to get their hot lunches and transition to locations after the 10-minute bell.

Dealing with Incidents:

●If you need support and cannot locate an administrator or faculty member, please call the Stanley office at so that someone can be dispatched to assist you.  If you call the office, please make sure to identify yourself as a Campus Cruiser.

●If you observe behavior that warrants a simple warning, please take the opportunity to speak with the student(s) to explain the rule and share why the behavior witnessed was of issue.

●If a behavior requires more than a warning, or if minor infractions continue after a warning, please contact an administrator, a staff supervisor, or the office so that a member of Stanley’s faculty can intervene.

●If a student is injured or has a health-related issue, please evaluate whether the student needs immediate help.  If the injury or health issue is life-threatening, contact 911 immediately and then contact the office and/or an administrator.  If the student requires medical assistance, but the issue is not life-threatening, evaluate whether the student can independently walk to the office or if he/she needs to be escorted.
