Information for New Families

January 26, 2026

Dear Rising 6th Grade Families,

It was wonderful seeing so many of you at Get to Know Stanley Night on January 15th! We also truly enjoyed meeting our future Wildcats during our elementary school visits last week, and we hope your child came home excited about starting their middle school journey.

We are currently hosting weekly tours of the Stanley campus and have added an additional tour date for Tuesday, February 10th. If you would like to join us and haven’t signed up yet, please visit this link.

Now that our school visits are complete, it is time for your rising 6th grader to select their elective preference for next year. Students have one elective slot and can choose between the 6th Grade Wheel, Chorus, Band, or Orchestra. You can find more information on these elective choices at this link.

Please submit your elective request via this Google Form by Friday, February 6th. Even if you anticipate your child having an intervention class, please fill out the form anyway so we have their preferences on file.

As a reminder, you can find all information regarding 6th grade transition activities on our website. Navigate to the Information for New Families page under the Parent Resources tab to find past messages, Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) contact info, and the slide decks, videos, and handouts from our orientation activities.

We are so excited to have you and your family join the Stanley community!

Sincerely,

Brian Mangold
